Simplemente voy a jugar y divertirme”.

Dom Pedro golf courses rebranded as Vilamoura Golf

Vilamoura's most prestigious golf courses have unveiled a bold, new identity to showcase the rich history and premium offerings of one of Europe's top golf & leisure destinations.

'Vilamoura Golf' represents an unparalled collection of courses that have been rebranded from Dom Pedro, including the iconic Old Course, the second oldest course in the Algarve and a hallmark of the region’s golf heritage. Alongside the Old Course, are the Pinhal, Laguna, and Millennium courses, offering golfers a diverse portfolio of exceptional venues to choose from.

The creation of the Vilamoura Golf brand marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of the celebrated resort. The cohesive identity of Vilamoura Golf ensures that each course - from the timeless prestige of the Old Course to the modern versatility of the Laguna and Millennium - shines as an integral part of the Vilamoura experience.

The new brand is linked to the overarching *Vilamoura brand, connecting the golf courses to the destination, which has undergone significant investment in recent times to reposition it and implement Arrow Global’s vision.

It is underscored by a simple, elegant logo that draws inspiration from Vilamoura’s destination. It’s sophisticated design balances harmony and distinction, positioning Vilamoura Golf as a world-class offering in the Algarve while enabling the individual courses to emphasize their unique qualities and premium status.

Ahead of the Vilamoura Golf launch, the Old Course celebrated its own refresh in late 2024, introducing a new monogram logo, designed to celebrate craftsmanship, exclusivity, and timeless sophistication.

Complementing the rebrand was the opening of a state-of-the-art clubhouse. Featuring elegant upgrades and modern amenities, the clubhouse blends vintage charm with contemporary flair, offering a welcoming space for members, guests, and the Vilamoura community to unwind and savour the upgraded ‘19th hole’.

New logos have also been introduced for the Pinhal, Laguna, and Millennium courses, highlighting their individual characteristics while preserving their connection to the broader Vilamoura brand.

“Vilamoura Golf reflects our vision of repositioning these iconic courses to offer an unparalleled golfing experience,” said Nuno Sepúlveda, Co-CEO of DETAILS. “Through significant improvements to the courses, facilities, and overall service, we’ve elevated the standard for golfers visiting the Algarve.

“Each course presents a unique challenge, and the Vilamoura Golf brand embodies this diversity while uniting them under a shared identity of excellence. This rebranding not only honours their rich legacy but also highlights our commitment to innovation, ensuring golfers enjoy world-class experiences that showcase the Algarve as a premier destination for sports and leisure.”

DETAILS is managing the rebranding, repositioning and golf course operations, under Arrow Global’s vision, with the goal of solidifying Vilamoura’s reputation as a world class sports and leisure destination. Milestones include the unveiling of the first Els Club in Europe, the development of an international sports facility, and the renovation of the Equestrian Centre, which will return to the global showjumping circuit later this year.

Four of Spain’s best golf courses have announced the re-introduction of an exclusive package to provide golfers with a once-in-a-lifetime experience in 2026.

1997 Ryder Cup host and current LIV Golf Andalucia venue Real Club Valderrama and 2023 Solheim Cup venue Finca Cortesin, as well as Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and La Reserva Sotogrande, who have both hosted professional events including the DP World Tour and Aramco Team Series, are now offering players the chance to book four rounds, one at each venue, through the click of a single button.

The package is available to book through tour operators only for the remainder of the year, with a shared buggy and access to the driving range facilities at each of the four courses 45 minutes before the scheduled tee time also included.

Speaking about the decision to relaunch the package, a spokesperson on behalf of the four courses said “Each of our venues is steeped in history and legacy, and together, we aim to showcase the exceptional quality and unique charm that Andalucia and the Costa del Golf region has to offer. This collaboration is a celebration of world-class golf and the premium experiences that define our shared commitment to excellence.”

All the courses are located within a 20-minute radius between Marbella and Sotogrande, allowing visitors the opportunity to sample one of the most coveted golfing corners of the world and everything the Costa del Golf region has to offer. Having originally been available from 2013 until 2022, golfers are once again able to experience this package after a two-year hiatus.

LEGION XIII AND GREYSON CLOTHIERS UNITE IN MULTI-YEAR APPAREL PARTNERSHIP

Luxury Performance Sportswear Brand Becomes Official Apparel Sponsor of Jon Rahm’s LIV Golf Team

Greyson, the luxury clothing and sportswear brand, and Jon Rahm and his LIV Golf team Legion XIII, today announced a multi-year apparel partnership designating Greyson Clothiers as the “official apparel sponsor” of Rahm and the team. Greyson has continued to expand in the sports and golf apparel industry, offering athletic pieces for both men and women, blurring the lines between luxury and sport.

As the newest team on the LIV Golf League and captained by world-renowned golfer and multi-major champion, Jon Rahm, Legion XIII is one of the strongest teams in the League, winning four team events during their maiden 2024 season. Joined by teammates Tyrrell Hatton, Caleb Surratt, and new signing Tom McKibbin, the entire Legion XIII team will debut in head-to-toe Greyson apparel, including custom polos, outerwear, and pants. The official Legion XIII team kits will be available for purchase on-site at LIV Golf League events throughout the year as well as on their website www.greysonclothiers.com.

"Greyson’s dedication to craftsmanship, performance, and style perfectly embodies the spirit of Legion XIII, and I’m proud to welcome them as our official apparel partner for the 2025 season," said Jon Rahm. "Their ability to seamlessly blend innovation with tradition makes them an ideal fit, and I’m excited to see our team represent the Greyson brand on the course this season."

As the official apparel sponsor of Legion XIII, Greyson continues to seamlessly merge luxury and performance to redefine everyday apparel. By transforming the traditional golf uniform with premium materials and modern tailoring, Greyson blurs the lines between sport and sophistication for the modern athlete. This partnership with Legion XIII and Jon Rahm further extends Greyson’s presence, given the global tournament calendar of LIV Golf.

"Our partnership with Legion XIII is a natural alignment in values of camaraderie, authenticity, and a commitment to excellence,” said Greyson CEO and Founder, Charlie Schaefer. “At Greyson, we create premium lifestyle apparel that reflects the refined yet relentless spirit of the modern athlete. Bringing our creative approach to the team aspect of golf allows us to celebrate camaraderie and performance in a way that is both sophisticated and true to our vision."

Rahm, one of the golf world’s most established players, boasts two career major titles and 22 professional wins, including two LIV Golf League victories. In his 2024 debut season, he finished the year at the top of the LIV Golf League leaderboard, capturing the LIV Golf Individual Championship title. Teammate Tyrrell Hatton also delivered a strong performance last season, finishing fourth in the individual standings. Announced last week, Legion XIII's newest roster addition, 22-year-old Irishman Tom McKibbin, joins the team after playing professionally on the DPWT. Tom now joins forces with teammate Caleb Surratt as two of the youngest players in the LIV Golf League after Jon signed Caleb to the team last year when he was just 19.

This week, the 2025 season kicks off for LIV Golf League, where Jon Rahm and Legion XIII will play under the lights at the Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.
